Bank Examiner Scam
Swindlers sometime convince
bank acount holders to withdraw funds, promising
them an immediate windfall or telling them that their money will
be immediatly redeposited in order to test the honesty of a bank
employee.
Do not deal with anyone
you do not know. Do not withdraw large sums of money.
WATCH OUT for the Bank Examiner Scheme. Elderly people PLEASE BE
AWARE!!!
You will recieve a phone
call or be confronted by a stranger who claims to be a bank examiner.
This starnger will claim a bank employee is stealing funds. The
stranger will ask you to withdraw money, mark the money and give
it to him. The stranger will tell you he will redeposit it, creating
a trap to catch the bank employee.
YOU WILL NEVER SEE THAT
STRANGER AGAIN, OR YOUR MONEY.
